Food Review: Persia Grill (Sky Garden, SM North Edsa)
I was expecting to be served by no less than the owner himself with this 'uniform'....
Hahaha! In short - 'pagnanasa.' choz.
Heniway,
Walang katao-tao ng dumating akey. Sunday ng 12:30pm yon kaya i was expecting na may lunch crowd na. May dumating namang 2 pa kaya naging 3 kami. Choz.
Humahaba ang kwento.
I called the waitress and I ordered Mozarella Cheese Puffs (P95.00) for appetizer.
First, it was greasy at sobrang kunat. Maygash. The 'dough' they used is soo kapal (and kunat nga) and the mozarella cheese filling is very little. The cooking oil, (where the mozarella puffs were deep fried, i supposed) will spill alongside the mozarella cheese when you cut it.
Hanung lasa? Well, mas value for money pa ang P55.00 two-slices pizza ng Pizza Hut.
For the main course, i had the Grilled Lamb Chops with Dolmeh (P335.00). The waitress asked me how i want my meat cooked and i told her "medium rare".
This is what i got.
Pakshet! If this is medium rare, eh hanung hitsura ng well-done?
Uling?
And i thought the 'surprise' is over.
I realized that 70% of the steak is actually chunks of bone.
Hey, the last time i checked, tao pa ako at hindi Siberian Husky. Shushal! Hihihi.
The size and the quality of the meat and how its cooked is far-cry from the image in their menu. They must have just seasoned the meat with salt because I couldn't actually determine if it was marinated, herbed or spiced prior to grilling because the burnt taste overpowers the distinct gamey flavor of the lamb. Wait, nag-nosebleed akey. Hihihi!
The Dolmeh is actually good. Not as good as Cyma's but i kinda liked it.
And another thing i noticed is that considering there's just 3 of us eating in their restaurant, the entire floor was filled with smoke eh wala namang nag-tsi-chicha o shisha. whatevah.
They must really fix their exhaust system.
But the food is a greater concern.
I actually felt i was cheated! Despite the fact that i was using my Groupon voucher (P400.00 worth), i think yung price ng meal ko eh hindi commensurate sa quality ng food.
I told the waitress my comments at tumango-tango lang ang bilat.
She then asked me if i will order dessert pero i decided to not prolong this unsavory experience.
Enough na ateh.
And yes, i am the BBB.

Nope.
